Orphans

These three cuties were born February 26, 2005. They came in with their mother on emergency after she had complications birthing them. She has since recovered and is doing well, but at the time was unable to care for her kittens. They were fostered out to one of our receptionists, who bottle-fed them around the clock until they were old enough to go to their new homes.

At six weeks of age the first, a gorgeous black kitten, found its new home and the name Minet. Minet now has a big sister, a husky named Gussie. They are such good friends that you can’t tell where Gussie ends and Minet begins!

The second kitten, who is now known as Tess, found her new home when she was nine weeks old. Tess turned out to be a beautiful longhaired little tabby. Her big brother Ben, a chocolate lab, loves to play with her and carry her around.

The third kitten, a handsome shorthaired tiger striped guy, stayed with his foster mom. He received the name Moby. Moby is the king of his new home, but does have a little water frog named Tadd for company. Moby hasn’t quite figured out how to catch Tadd yet but spends long hours watching him swim and devising a plan.
