The purpose of Muttessori is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs during weekly business hours. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:
AGE: All dogs must be 16 weeks (4 months) of age or older.
SEX: All dogs 24 weeks (6 months) of age or older must be spayed or neutered. Contact our office for exceptions.
SHOTS: All dogs must have current vaccinations. These include distemper, parvo, corona, bordatella, a fecal sample and rabies. Puppies will be considered for enrollment upon completion of all three series of puppy shots, including rabies.
HEALTH: All dogs must be in good general health. Owners will certify that their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free of any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require a veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted. Dogs with stitches are not allowed in doggy daycare until they are removed. (This policy is enforced with the protection and well-being of your pet in mind.)
BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dog(s) have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all the animals in our daycare is our main concern.
Please remember: You are legally responsible for your dog’s behavior.
APPLICATION: All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations guarantee availability for your pet. Muttessori School accepts “walk-ins” as space permits and on a first come, first serve basis. Clients will be charged in full for “no-shows” and for cancellations with less than a 24 hour notice.
PLAY TIME:
1.) Playgroups will be given careful consideration and changed as needed in order to ensure healthy and safe play. Size, age and agility will be the defining components.
2.) Dogs will rotate from playgroups to naptime with a walk outdoors.
3.) We will provide all play equipment and toys. Toys from home will not accepted into our facility.
4.) Blankets and/or beds are welcome from home for your pet’s comfort during naptime. They will be sent home with your pet on a daily basis.
5.) Each dog in daycare will have a daily record sheet. They will be available for review at owner’s request.
*SPECIAL NOTE*
All dogs MUST have a properly fitted collar and leash while entering and exiting our facility. NO EXCEPTIONS!
